London has plenty of options for hotel accommodation, from traditional bed and breakfast and mainstream hotels all the way through to some of the most exclusive establishments in the world. Your budget will have a lot to do with what part of London you will want to stay in. Prices range from £20-£200 per person per night. Expect to pay around £80-£100 per night for a well known 3-star hotel in the central area of the city. Staying further out will be cheaper and the extra cost of getting around is probably not significant compared to the hotel saving further out.
Paddingtonin West Central London has undergone a lot of change recently. Good hotels at a reasonable price can be found in the immediate area of Paddington Station and in quieter spots a short walk away. Earl's Court, also in West Central London, has budget and modest accommodation as well as good 4-star hotels. Around the back of Victoria Station, in the Pimlico area, there are many bed and breakfasts (B&Bs). Bloomsbury is a relatively quiet district with a wide range of accommodation. Cartwright Gardens features a dozen small B&Bs in historic houses. Many budget options are located on Argyle Street.
In London you can also find some of the worlds most exclusive establishments, such as the Savoy, The Ritz and Claridges among others. At these places a stay in a top suite can easily cost you £1000 per night.
